Paulius is our latest recruit on the development side. From a young age, he was interested in the inner workings of the world around him and it therefore seemed natural for him to pursue studies in science and engineering. Paulius graduated from university with a BSc in Chemical Engineering in Lithuania. Thanks to these studies, he gained a broad academic and scientific knowledge base, as well as honing his analytical, out-of-the-box approach to problem solving. However, Paulius always knew his true passion lay in technology. 

Paulius moved to Edinburgh a couple of years ago and a change of scenery, combined with a natural eagerness to learn, inspired him to enrol on a Web Development course with Edinburgh College. Concurrent with these studies, he worked as an IT engineer for a local Edinburgh business. The nature of the job deepened his knowledge of IT and gave him valuable real world experience of liaising with customers and troubleshooting complex issues. Paulius can now confidently take apart, and put back together, almost any device imaginable.

In his spare time, Paulius enjoys tinkering with single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi and Arduino, always looking to apply his coding skills to solving real-life problems and challenges. In addition to that, Paulius enjoys cooking and he is hoping that one day he will discover the perfect recipe for a pizza base.
